I like this as a replacement for just giving money to the car companies because the free market is more involved, but I don’t like it as additional public money flowing to doomed car companies.

3. Preet has a story of someone who leased a car and the dealership tried to change the terms of the signed contract a few weeks later claiming that a mistake had been made. The amount of money at stake is $2100 over 4 years. I’d be interested in hearing how this ends up.
